Ms Kim Restall graduated from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Nutrition and Dietetics. She is a registered Dietitian in both Malta and in the UK and is the Head of the Weight Management Institute at Saint James Hospital Malta.

Kim began her work experience in Scotland at the Royal Cornhill Hospital, Dr Gray’s Hospital and Ayrshire Central Hospital, in both a community and diverse acute setting. This included working in various wards such as orthopaedics, oncology, surgical, older adults, paediatrics, gastroenterology, and critical care. Furthermore, Kim then specialized in dietetics for Bariatric Surgeries, which led her to her leadership role within the Weight Management Institute at Saint James Hospital, Malta. As the head of the department, Kim plays a pivotal role in guiding patients through their weight-loss journey both pre- and post-bariatric surgery.

With hands-on experience working with diverse patient profiles, Kim offers tailored nutritional plans and support that address the unique dietary needs of the individuals. Their expertise lies not only in the clinical aspects of nutrition but also in the compassionate care she gives helping patients build sustainable, healthy lifestyles and long-term success.
